We begin the day by crossing the 25th of April Bridge, an iconic Lisbon landmark, leading us to the south bank of the Tagus River. Our first sight is the impressive Christ the King statue (Cristo Rei), standing tall over Almada and offering stunning panoramic views of Lisbon.

Our journey continues to the charming village of Azeitão, renowned for its winemaking traditions. Here, we’ll visit a local winery and enjoy a wine-tasting session, featuring the famous Moscatel de Setúbal, a sweet and aromatic dessert wine unique to this region.

🍽️ Lunch: Palmela & Setúbal's Coastal Flavors

Next, we head to Palmela, a picturesque town crowned by the medieval Palmela Castle. We’ll take a short break to explore this 12th-century fortress, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding landscapes.

From Palmela, we descend to Setúbal, a vibrant coastal city famous for its fresh seafood. Here, we take a break for lunch at one of the city’s best restaurants, where you can try the local specialty, Choco Frito (fried cuttlefish)—a must-try dish in the region! After lunch, we’ll take a stroll along Setúbal’s riverfront promenade, soaking in the relaxed maritime atmosphere.
