Nazaré: The Wave Capital of the World

Next up is the stunning coastal town of Nazaré. Known for its giant waves (some of the biggest in the world), Nazaré offers dramatic cliffside views, colourful fishing traditions, and a vibrant seaside atmosphere. Even if you’re not a surfer, the ocean energy here is infectious. And who knows? We might even spot a few daredevils riding the swell.

Aveiro: The Portuguese Venice

Before we reach Porto, we make one more delightful stop in Aveiro. This canal-filled city is all about charm: colourful boats called moliceiros, tiled art-nouveau buildings, and the sweet treat ovos moles. It’s a nice spot to stretch your legs, enjoy a riverside walk, or grab a bite before reaching your final destination.
